The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain for North Ayrshire on Saturday.
The weather warning is in place from 3am until noon on August 19.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Heavy rain brings the potential for some disruption on Saturday morning.
"Bus and train services probably affected with journeys taking longer, with the possibility of cancellations.
"There is also a possibility of spray and flooding on roads probably making journeys longer.
"Flooding of a few homes and businesses is also possible."
