People aged 60 and over in Largs are being invited to get involved with a popular club, with lots of activities to enjoy.

The Cameron Centre in Largs is known locally as a great meeting and social venue for 60s and over, with a busy schedule of events.

The centre is open from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday and provides a 'drop in centre' for both members and visitors.  

Daily newspapers are available and there is a small library, and a new patio area.

People can join in with various regular activities which take place including Knit and Knatter Club, Art Group, Prize Bingo, Beetle Drive, Cinema Club, Scrabble and a weekly prize draw. 

Other activities include lunches, holidays, day trips and visits to the theatre. 

Membership renewal will be held at the Cameron Centre on September 19 and 20, from 10am until noon.

This year, the fee remains unchanged at £12.

Tea and coffee will be served free after membership is renewed.
