Largs residents are being reminded to mark a date in their diaries for the Opportunities In Retirement open day.
The OIR is holding its annual open day on September 6 in the Clark Memorial Church Hall between 2 and 4pm.
A wide selection of activities will be showcased, from hillwalking to drama and learning a new language.
For those thinking about joining Opportunities In Retirement or looking for another activity to enjoy, the event is the ideal opportunity to talk with the activity group leaders and committee members.
Refreshments will be served and members old and new are welcome.
The long running group in the town has an 800-plus membership, and even has its own premises in the town at the foot of Waterside Street, on Irvine Road, near the town centre.
