A WOMAN has been arrested following a crash in Largs at the weekend which saw a man taken to hospital.
The Haylie Brae was temporarily closed after the crash on Friday evening.
The arrested woman is now due to appear in court next month in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of a crash at Haylie Brae, Largs around 6.30pm on Friday, 25 August, 2023.
“Emergency services attended and a 58-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 45-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a road traffic offence and is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Thursday, September 21, 2023.”
