In this week's nostalgic look back into the archives, we head back to 1994.
Top movies included The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction and Four Weddings and a Funeral.
And that film produced the year's best-seller - Love Is All Around by Wet Wet Wet, which stayed in top spot for 15 weeks.
At the Largs Academy prizewinning ceremony, the sports winners showed off their winning certificates (above), and were suitably bowled over with their success.
And Douglas Park youngsters were full of the joys after having access to new play equipment and the smiles on their faces says it all.
The Largs Rainbow Guides certainly looked the part for their new 1994/95 term when the News snapper came to visit too.
