Two sessions have been arranged on Cumbrae to allow residents to give their views on an appeal over the rejection of plans for a solar farm on the island.

Comsol Energy has appealed to the Scottish Government after North Ayrshire Council’s planning committee rejected plans for the facility at the top of the island earlier this year.

Cumbrae Community Council has arranged for two sessions in The Cumbrae Forum hub where locals can use laptops to give their views on the appeal.

The sessions will take place on September 8 from 1pm to 4pm, and on September 13 from 3pm to 6pm.
