Fairlie Yacht Club has donated money to Largs Lifeboat Station to help it replace a vital piece of equipment.
The station’s anemometer, which measures wind direction and speed, needed replaced, and the yacht club came forward with a donation.
Fairlie Yacht Club vice commodore John Kent and committee member Ian Munro visited the station to hand over the device.
An RNLI spokesperson said: “Largs RNLI would like to extend our thanks to all at Fairlie Yacht Club for this wonderful donation.”
