A man has been held in custody following four alleged housebreakings and four shopliftings in Largs.
Police officers say the 27-year-old man was arrested following the incidents in the town overnight on Thursday, September 7.
He was also charged with severall alleged breaches of curfew bail following the incident.
Police seargent Donald Fisher said: "This involved a lot of work across officers at Largs and local businesses to bring together the evidence to arrest and charge the male."
