A PRIMARY pupil has won a poster competition to publicise a charity concert in West Kilbride.
Folk musicians David and Irene McCulloch are hosting the charity folk concert in the Barony Centre on Main Street.
However, this year the concert organisers invited primary seven pupils from the town to design the publicity poster.
The workshop with the pupils was led by Karen Teal from the Riso Print Studio and The Christmas Shop kindly provided a prize for the winner, Hayley Strain.
The couple are expected to host the evening along with musicians from the Dalry Folk Club.
Funds raised will go towards supporting the West Kilbride Christmas Yuletide Fund.
Tickets cost £10 and that includes a pie at half time. The event starts at 7.30pm on October 6 in the Barony Craft Gallery.
Tickets can be bought from Giuliano's Sweet and Coffee Shop on West Kilbride Main Street.
