In this week's delve into the archives, we head back to 1998 and a rare batch of colour photos from the period, with the Wee Paper not moving into full colour until the turn of the millennium.
It was France v Brazil in the World Cup final, as Les Bleus saw off the dazzling Brazillians 3-0 in the final. Big movies of the year included Titanic, starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo Di Caprio, which was shown at the Vikingar cinema.
Largs Kindergarten were pictured enjoying a visit to the shoe box.
The Helter Skelter Sports Hall Athletics squad were photographed after a busy training session.
