A MAIN road to a coastal path in Fairlie is set to be shut for four months.
North Ayrshire Council will be shutting The Causeway in the village for around four months from September 22.
According to the Scottish Road Works Commissioner, it is likely that there will be parking restrictions during the roadworks.
The road will be closed to allow the "potential site location for compound for part of the coastal path improvement works".
For more information about the road closure visit the Scottish Road Works Commissioner at roadworksscotland.org.
