In this week's delve into the archives, we take a look back to Octobers past.
First up we head back to 1986, and the Largs Cubs and Scouts meet up in their hall behind the old Stevenston Institute in the town for their annual picture.

Blue Brothers (Image: Newsquest)The September Weekend parade in 1981 was inspired by movies of the period, including The Blues Brothers, starring Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi.

Finally, in October 1987, football competition winners were all smiles at Skelmorlie Community Centre, with Largs footballers, Dominic Mackay and Scott McNicol, bottom right.
