A Heat and Hospitality day to assist people living on Cumbrae with the cost of living had to be cancelled today.
The event, which is regularly open to the whole community, takes place at Cumbrae Parish Church, and is about to resume for the autumn.
A church spokesperson explained: "Due to a problem with our heating, it has been decided to postpone the restart of Warm Wednesday until Wednesday, October 4, from 1.30-3.30pm.
"Our apologies for this.
"Hopefully, the heating will have been fixed, and it will indeed be a warm Wednesday on the 4th!
"Come along and join us with the children. It's a fun time, and there's a cuppa too."
