Largs Bridge Club has revealed that it was able to "substantially increase" its charitable donations during the past year thanks to the generosity of members and online players.
Donations made during the past 12 months include a total of £200 each to the Largs Foodbank, RNLI, Ayrshire Hospice, SSPCA and Water Aid, a club spokesperson said.
Good causes are suggested by members each year at the club's AGM, and members' wishes are taken into account where possible when deciding how to distribute the funds.
