Fairlie's ever popular Christmas tree lighting ceremony takes place next week.
This year’s festive event will take place at Fairlie Village Hall on Monday December 4 from 7pm, when the lights on the Christmas tree will be switched on.
The eagerly anticipated Margaret Currie BEM award will be announced and presented to the Fairlie Young Citizen Of The Year, an event which been running for over 30 years.
And musical entertainment, including some Christmas classics, will be provided by Fairlie Primary on the main stage.
After the formalities, festive snacks and refreshments will be served.
Everybody is welcome.
