Largs Food Bank is reminding potential users that the service only covers certain areas of North Ayrshire.
Volunteers at the foodbank can only help people who live in Largs, Fairlie, Cumbrae, and Skelmorlie.
West Kilbride locals are being reminded to use The Village Larder, whilst Ardrossan and Saltcoats residents can access the North Ayrshire Foodbank.
A spokesperson said: "Just a reminder that Largs Foodbank only covers Largs, Fairlie, Cumbrae and Skelmorlie.
"West Kilbride have a larder. For Ardrossan and Saltcoats please access North Ayrshire Foodbank based in Ardrossan.
"We are facing double the amount of users and we only serve those in our area. Thanks for your understanding."
The Largs service is open every Thursday from 11.30am to 4.30pm in the centenary hall of the Clark Memorial Church.
