Churches Together on Cumbrae are hosting a Candlelight Carol Service this weekend.
The event is taking place in the majestic surrounding of the Cathedral of the Isles on Sunday, December 17.
The event will begin at 6pm, and will be followed by a reception in the Cathedral Cloisters.
The Churches Together group represents Cumbrae Parish Church, Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Roman Catholic Church, and the Scottish Episcopal Church congregation at the Cathedral of the Isles itself.
Revd Canon Alexander J. Boyd, from the Cathedral of the Isles, told the News he was greatly looking forward to the spectacle and is hoping for a good turnout.
