STAFF at a Largs care home have been joined on stage at their 2023 pantomime - by one of their own residents.

The Haylie House team took to the stage at St Columba's Episcopal Church for their production of Goldilocks and the Three Bears - directed and organised by Linda Young, the home's activity and wellbeing co-ordinator.

Among the cast was Haylie House resident Jim Laurie, who joined the cast and took part in the sing-along.

Irene Smith, the care home's manager, said: "Everyone was fantastic on the day and had great fun entertaining our audience of family and friends.

"The costumes were made by Margaret McShane, who did an amazing job.

"There were many highlights from the panto, but the best was the atmosphere created by everyone and the joy on everyone’s face.

"A massive well done to all the staff for working so hard to ensure the panto went so smoothly everyone's efforts were very much appreciated."
