ONE of the longest-serving business owners at Largs Yacht Haven has retired.
John Highcock has been at the helm of marina-based business Saturn Sails for many years.
He was bade a fond farewell by Largs Yacht Haven director Carolyn Elder and marina manager David Hewitt
Saturn Sails are designers and manufacturers of racing and cruising sails, covers, and accessories for all marine craft.
They combine state-of-the-art design technology, with an expert team, to produce high quality products which are custom built at our specially designed sail loft, based at Largs Yacht Haven.
A marina spokesperson said: "Local legend John Highcock is retiring from Saturn Sails.
"For many decades, John has been a true ambassador for Saturn Sails at Largs Yacht Haven and Scottish sailing as whole.
"Enjoy your very well-deserved retirement, John!"
