GENEROUS golfers in Largs have raised hundreds of pounds to help children with kidney failure in Scotland.

Largs Golf Club raised a total of £450 for Kidney Kids Scotland through a raffle held at their Christmas party and prizegiving.

Kidney Kids Scotland, based in Falkirk, helps Scottish children with kidney failure and urology illness and their families.

They support families and hospitals all over Scotland.

A charity spokesperson said: "Thanks to Largs Golf Club for their continued support of Kidney Kids Scotland."

Kidney Kids Scotland was founded as a charitable trust in July 2000 to help children with renal illness and their families.

Families continue to be a priority for the charity ensuring they are supported when they most need it.
