A Stagecoach bus has broken down in Largs during the adverse weather.
With heavy surface water on the roads, the bus broke down in Irvine Road, near the Haylie Brae junction.
A Stagecoach spokesperson said: "The 13.39 Largs to Ayr has broken down.
"A replacement bus will start at West Kilbride. The next 585 from Largs to Ayr is 14.09.
"We’re sorry for the delay!"
The disruption to the bus service comes after ScotRail announced that no trains were running west of Kilwinning on the Glasgow-Largs route because of flooding at Fairlie.
