A WORLD renowned Fab Four tribute act are returning to Barrfields Theatre after playing to sell-out audiences in the town.

The tribute band have been wowing crowds across the UK and Europe with their spectacular theatre show for over 10 years, and are regular guests at International Beatles Week in Liverpool.

After the News informed The Just Beatles tribute group of the town's family connection to John Lennon on the last time they visited, the members spoke about their surprise about the link at the concert itself.

Lennon's cousin Stan Parkes lived in Largs from 1995 until he passed away in 2016.

The pair enjoyed a strong bond, often spending summer holidays together in Scotland.

Largs and Millport Weekly News:

For decades, Stan was inundated with requests from Beatles fans from all over the globe for signed memorabilia from his Waterside Street home, and once even sat in on a recording sessions with the group.

Listen to Stan's last ever interview with the Largs and Millport Weekly News where he recalls his memories of John Lennon.

The first Just Beatles show in Largs was particularly poignant as it was their very last gig before the pandemic struck in March 2020.

The fab foursome loved the reception so much that they decided on Barrfields Theatre to open their new tour in September 2022.

And the band are making their big return on Saturday, February 24 at 7.30pm.
