Hardy swimmers are once again set to brave the cold waters of the Firth of Clyde on New Year's Day for a good cause.
More than 60 hardy swimmers braved the New Year’s Day cold last year to raise over £4,000 for late rugby legend Doddie Weir's charity - the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.
The 'Doddie Dip' at Ardneil Bay in Portencross was organised by Eilidh Jack and the Anderson family, with participants joined by TV presenter and charity ambassador Lee McKenzie on the day.
More than £4,000 was raised for the foundations set up by the Scottish sporting icon after his diagnosis with motor neurone disease.
The event is now set to return for 2024, with eager participants invited to gather at Ardneil Bay to enter the water at 11am on the first day of the year.
