Largs is gearing itself up for another musical extravaganza as it once again looks to hit the high notes as pubs open their doors and celebrate the new year with some top live entertainment.

Sharps in Nelson Street will be hosting the Rheumatoid Rockers, Best Bad Influence., Craig Scott, Blue Horizon, and Jeff Jeffries in a bonanza of live music.

Room's entertainment kicks off at 2pm with Ryan and Rebecca McCluckie, followed by the Howie Six at 3.30pm. Papa Booch and the Amigos are bringing some classic covers as they perform their big show at 4.30pm, and then it is Finlay Quinn at 6.30pm, rounded off with Crisis at 8pm and The V.Ls at 10pm.

And in The George, Atlantic Disco will be providing all the tunes you want to party to and make sure 2024 goes with a real swing.

If you are wanting to put on your blue suede shoes and enjoy some classic Elvis, then the Waterside is the place to be as their popular tribute act makes his January 2 return to the Bath Street bar with his live show at 3pm, with Deville also performing at 6pm.

And The Three Reasons in Gallowgate Street also has a full January 2 line-up, starting at 1.30pm with Samantha Kane, Joe Murdoch at 4pm, Will Easton at 6.30pm and Graham Holley at 9.15pm.
