Shoppers donated hundreds of pounds to Largs First Responders during a recent fundraising event at the town's Morrisons store.
More than £1,000 was raised to help the voluntary group provide essential support to the Scottish Ambulance Service during emergency calls.
A spokesperson for the Morrisons store thanked customers for supporting the good cause.
They said: "We are overwhelmed by your generosity towards the local Largs First Responders unit after you helped them raise an incredible £1,011.35 after their recent in-store fundraiser.
"Thank you so much, your kindness and generosity is invaluable.
"With your support, you are helping provide the local community with vital life saving services in an emergency."
The First Responders have also thanked Indigo Eats, in Gallowgate Street, Largs, for providing a fantastic three-course dinner for the ambulance crew working the day shift in Glasgow on Christmas Day, as well as a steak pie dinner on New Year's Day.
