A local church is opening its doors to host several community events next week.
The Church of the Nazarene, in Aitken Street, will host a Bible Study session on Wednesday, January 10, while its Common Ground Community Meals event will restart on Thursday, January 11.
Starting at 4.30pm, the Common Ground event will see creamy chicken and leek pie being served with mash.
A school teacher will also be in attendance during the event to help children with homework.
Children's meals are free, with a suggested £2 donation for adults.
A spokesperson for The Church of the Nazarene said: "We hope you've enjoyed a restful and relaxing Christmas break and we look forward to being with you again soon."
