People in North Ayrshire are being warned of collection delays to their brown bins after the festive season.
North Ayrshire Council have announced that bins that haven't been collected since December 30 will be emptied on the next scheduled collection day.
A spokesperson said: "Due to reduced resources and unforeseen absences over the festive period, any brown bins not collected between December 30, 2023, and January 5 will be collected on your next scheduled collection day.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Bin collection calendars are available to download from the council's website.
