Pupils in Largs have carried out outdoor jobs to benefit their school grounds and create a better wildlife experience for bird enthusiasts.
Children at St Mary's Primary recently undertook a day of outdoor development and conservation work to complete the John Muir Award, which they embarked on at Arran Outdoor Education Centre.
They worked incredibly well as a team to clear and create a bird feeding and observation area in the school grounds.
This will support the local birds throughout the winter and provide a wonderful mindfulness area to support mental and emotional wellbeing in the playground.
Mr Canning has been thanked for his support, with Miss Canning also thanked for organising the project.
