In this week's magic delve into the archives, we head back to 24 years ago, as the St Columba's Episcopal Church was lining up their big dance show.
Local children in the Modern Dance Club held their show in St. Columba’s Episcopal Church Hall in Aubery Crescent.
The nimble footed youngsters were dancing from top tracks in the music charts which included Robbie Williams and The Spice Girls. Songs in the charts in the period included 'Independent Woman' by Destiny's Child and Leeann Rhimes 'Can't Fight the Moonlight'

Customers of the Kelburn Bar in Millport managed to raise £230 for the Masons of Lodge Kelburn Children’s Treat Fund. The money is used to take local primary school children to the pantomime in Glasgow. There was a special New Year benediction from local ministers at the united church service in the “Millport Dome” to see in 2011.
