A local church is opening its doors this afternoon to host one of its popular Common Ground events.
The Church of the Nazarene is inviting members of the community to enjoy some bargain meals.
Creamy chicken and leek pie will be served with mash during the event.
A school teacher will also be in attendance during the event to help children with their homework.
Children's meals are free, with a suggested £2 donation for adults.
A spokesperson said: "Common Ground is back tonight and it's all about the comfort food!
"Drop in for some potato leek soup, creamy chicken and leek pie with mash, and delicious desserts.
"Doors open at 3pm for soup, tea and coffee, and dinner is served from 4.30 to 5pm."
