The first meeting of the new year for Largs and District Stamp Club was a 'Postcard Night' covering everything from the American Civil War to World Cup mascots.
Robert Provan opened the evening on the theme of 'My Life' by showing cards of personal significance from Millport, Kilmarnock and Beith.
David Rossall gave a short presentation on Scottish Castles, focusing on local ones, followed by Ian Smith demonstrating how the invention of the camera changed the way the American Civil War was recorded.
Caroline Watt then showcased her first set of novelty postcards, featuring leather variations and those that squeak.
Ian Armstrong finished the first round with his rare collection of World Cup Mascots postcards from 1970 to 1982.
Caroline continued with another set of novelty cards and Robert Watt followed with a presentation on postcards and postal history specific to East Kilbride.
