Applications are now open for Ryanair's aircraft engineer apprentice programme based at Prestwick Airport.

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd is one of six aircraft maintenance providers that carry out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of new generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft.

The company is currently recruiting for its aircraft engineer apprentice program.

Aircraft apprentices will be involved in aircraft maintenance, repairs and modifications across all zones of the aircraft – wings, engines, fuselage and tail, cabin and flight deck.

The apprenticeship program is four years and is based in Prestwick.

It is an excellent opportunity for successful candidates to work in an exciting, vibrant industry and obtain a recognised qualification in aircraft maintenance.

Preference will be given to candidates who have a good academic record and successfully completed, or are about to complete, an aeronautical engineering-related qualification.

The recruitment process for the role consists of an aptitude test, a practical skills assessment and a formal technical interview.

Anyone interested can submit their CV, outlining their results, achievements, hobbies, technical skills and any technical projects that they may have been involved in.
