Police have confirmed that a total of six shoplifting incidents occurred in Largs - with one shop targeted on three separate occasions on the same day.
Greggs in Main Street was targeted three times through the month of December. Enquiries are continuing into these incidents which occurred on December 19.
There were two similar thefts at Tesco Express in Aitken Street on December 15, with enquiries ongoing, and on December 21, which was detected.
Another shoplifting incident occurred at Largs Computers shop in the Main Street on December 19 - with police confirming that the matter was detected.
Reports on both detections have been sent to the procurator fiscal.
All these matters featured in a report from Largs Police to this month's community council meeting.
