A new community-based lunch club and bingo event is taking place in Tuesdays in Largs for all people over 50.
The event is run by HOPE (Helping Older People Evolve) in the Community which is part of CLASP (Community Led Action and Support Project) based in North Ayrshire.
The main aim is to help people aged 50+ and living in North Ayrshire, to remain independent within their own homes for longer.
HOPE in the community is now based in Largs on Tuesday at the community hub in Cumbrae Gardens - their groups are for anyone over the age of 50 who live in North Ayrshire.
As well as a lunch club start at 11.30am cost £4 for soup and sandwiches (last Tuesday of the month is a chippy) followed by mini bingo 4/5 games for £4 including tea coffee and a cake.
