A kind-hearted Ayrshire couple raised over £5,000 for a vital charity during their 40th wedding anniversary celebrations.
Robert and Lorna Miller kindly asked their guests for donations to the Ayrshire Hospice in lieu of gifts on their big day.
The couple managed to raise an incredible £5,767, which they handed over to the charity which provides care to people with life-limiting illnesses in the region.
A hospice spokesperson said: "Thank you so much to Robert and Lorna for including the hospice in your special occasion and sincere thanks to your guests for being so generous."
