A women's group in Largs are appealing to keen knitters for help with a charity project.
Members of Largs SWI are knitting twiddle muffs for the town's Dementia Friendly charity and are appealing for help.
The item is designed to keep hands warm but has soothing effects on those experiencing dementia or Alzheimer's.
Anyone interested in joining can find some free patterns on the Largs SWI Facebook group.
Meanwhile, supermarket Morrisons has donated over 100 bottles of water to the Largs Dementia Friendly Group.
They are expected to be used towards the second "Memory Walk" which will be held at Barrfields Park on Saturday, June 2.
Any knitted twiddle muffs are asked to be handed in at the next group's meet-up on Wednesday, March 6 at the Cameron Centre.
