A person was reported to be in a possession of a knife in Largs town centre earlier this week.
No arrest has been made as yet, following the incident which is believed to have taken place in Aitken Street on Saturday. February 10.
The matter featured in this month's police report to Largs Community Council.
Largs Community Council have been told that 'enquiries are ongoing' into the incident at the current stage.
