TWO households in Largs have been targeted by online scammers, according to local police.
Both matters were highlighted in the crime report sent to Largs Community Council by Police Scotland.
Police say their enquiries are ongoing into an attempted online banking fraud in Kelburn Court on Tuesday, February 6.
This follows an attempted fraud at an address in Nelson Street on January 22.
On their website, Police Scotland say: "With technology growing, fraudsters are more sophisticated. Many types of fraud exist.
"All reports of fraud and any other financial crime should be reported to police via 101 without delay."
