The Largs Recycling Centre has re-opened ahead of schedule.
The coup was re-opened for 11am to provide recycling and litter disposal facilities for the public.
On Wednesday, one local motorist contacted the News stating that they'd arrived at the site that morning to find the gates closed, with no signs up to inform the public.
North Ayrshire Council explained that the shutdown was due to issues with water supply, and initially stated that it wouldn't re-open till Monday, February 19.
