A popular eatery in West Kilbride has had to close its doors today due to staff illness.
Cita Tapas, which is based at West Kilbride railway station, and underwent a recent refurbishment which closed the restaurant earlier in the year, put a posting up on their Facebook page, indicating that the premises will be closed for today.
A restaurant spokesperson said: "Unfortunately due to staff illness we will be closed today. All bookings for this evening have been contacted to rearrange. We apologise for the inconvenience this causes."
Cita Tapas initially opened in 2021 as a tapas bar but in recent times has extended to become a lounge bar and grill.
The restaurant are offering a Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off for Mother's Day roast this Sunday.
