Children visiting Portencross Castle on Easter Sunday will be given a special chocolate treat it has been announced as the site's season opening is confirmed.
Stewards will be giving away mini Easter chocolate bunnies to the first 50 children who visit the castle on Easter Sunday (March 31). Entry is free.
For safety reasons, children visiting the castle must be accompanied by an adult.
The castle will be open to visitors daily from Friday, March 29 until Sunday, April 14.
After that date, the castle will open at weekends and on public holidays until Sunday, June 30.
During the summer, the historic keep will open daily from Monday, July 1 until Sunday, September 1.
It will then open on weekends until Sunday, September 29 when it closes for the winter.
Normal opening times are from 11am until 4pm. Last entry is 3.45pm.
