An incident of 'threatening and abusive' behaviour was reported at the Largs Medical Centre last month.

The crime was contained within a monthly report provided by Largs Police to the community council in the town.

According to the report, the incident occurred at the practice, and police were called on February 19.

When asked about the incident, police stated that there was not an arrest made initially.

They said the person was taken away and then returned home - but later carried on the behaviour elsewhere.

An arrest was subsequently made, with both incidents factored into the crime report of the incident.

Sergeant Donald Fisher told the community council meeting that it 'all added up' to an arrest then taking place.

A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
