'Scots of the Southwest' is the fascinating topic of the next meeting of a Largs community history group.
The North Ayrshire Family History Society will welcome guest speaker Dr Alison Cathcart to the general monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 9 in the Largs Museum from 7.30pm.
She will give a talk about Scots of the Southwest and the Plantations in Ulster throughout the evening.
Members and friends from across North Ayrshire are cordially invited along to enjoy what promises to be an interesting presentation.
