A popular celebration of traditional Scots music which takes place monthly in Largs is moving to a new venue.

Stoddy's Traditional Session is on the move to Sharp's Bar in Largs, and takes place at the last Sunday of every month.

A spokesperson said: "Due to circumstances outwith our control, our Stoddy's Traditional Session will be moving.

"We are grateful to Sara Veitch for welcoming us to Sharp's Bar, where we will be based from this Sunday, April 28.

"It will be at the usual time of 2.30pm, and all traditional instruments are welcome.

" Please join us and help make this first session in the new location a fabulous one."

The live traditional Scottish music jamming session has been running for many years in memory of much-missed Largs musician Ian Stoddart.

Invite your friends and your family, and tell them not to miss this lovely afternoon of traditional tunes and songs - and you can also bring along a musical instrument and join in!
