GREENOCK welcomed another luxurious vessel to the Ocean Terminal at the weekend when a stately ship sailed into town.

Sirena arrived early on Saturday morning amid a 37-day trip from Miami to Southampton.

It was the latest stop in a voyage which has already seen the ship visit Barbados, the Canary Islands, Morocco, Portugal, France and Spain.

She will visit Holyhead, Cork and Plymouth before arriving at Southampton.

The luxurious vessel has sailed under many names since she first entered service in 1999.

Her current owners, Oceania Cruises, purchased her from Princess Cruises in 2016 and changed her name from Ocean Princess to Sirena.

She can hold over 800 passengers and has a wide range of activities and facilities for her passengers to enjoy.
