YOUNG engineers and scientists from Gourock took part in a Scotland-wide online training programme.
Pupils from St Columba's High attended the Medical Research Scotland Academy, which links youngsters interested in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics (STEM) with industry experts.
The sessions were live-streamed into science classrooms for pupils in S4 to S6 every Friday morning for a month.
Students heard 'inspiring and insightful' presentations, and enjoyed a 'Live from the Lab' feature which gave them a look inside a PhD researcher's learning environment.
