A motorist has been charged with attempting to take away a car whilst disqualified in Largs, according to police.
The incident happened on April 19 at St Colm's Place in Largs.
Police say an individual allegedly attempted to' take away the motor vehicle' whilst disqualified, with no insurance, and then resisted arrest when approached by police officers.
The person was subsequently arrested, and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
