A major road closure is affecting people heading to and from Millport this week on Cumbrae.
The coast road between Cumbrae Slip and Millport (B896 Ballochmartin Bay) will be closed for repair and resurfacing works. Diversions will be in place and congestion is possible.
Due to this road closure, the local bus operated by Millport Motors will be reduced to an hourly service.
The closure runs from May 20 at 9am until May 24 at 3.30pm.
The road is closed due to a pipe repair and road resurfacing and diversions are signposted.
Please be aware of the extra traffic that will be going round the back of the island from the ferry from today, due to the coastal road being closed.
