A motorist who did not provide a specimen to police was reported in connection with various offences.

The incident happened within Largs town centre on April 20.

Police say that they stopped a driver in Frazer Street whilst unfit, who failed to provide sample, had no excise licence, and failed to change address on licence.

A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

The incident featured in the monthly round-up of crime matters provided by Police Scotland to Largs Community Council for their monthly meeting which took place in mid-May.

Police did not specify whether it was in relation to an alcohol or drug specimen.
