The Opportunities In Retirement (OIR) committee in Largs is inviting all members and friends to attend its annual general meeting on Wednesday, June 5 at 2pm.
This will be held in the Largs Community Church hall. The meeting will be followed by musical entertainment from Mervyn Karwot and his piano accordion.
The afternoon will be rounded off with refreshment, and new members will be made most welcome.
The OIR carries out a diverse range of activities from learning languages to hillwalking, to keep fit classes and much more.
The long running group has an 800-plus membership, and even has its own premises in the town at the foot of Waterside Street on Irvine Road.
